Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has launched the ILERA EKO Standard Jaara Health Insurance Plan and commissioned five ILERA EKO Virtual Health Booths, marking a significant advancement in the state’s healthcare system.

This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden of medical expenses with subsidized premiums, targeting both the formal and informal sectors.
Governor Sanwo-Olu underscored the administration’s commitment to achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Lagos. “We are dedicated to ensuring that no resident is left behind,” he stated. “The ILERA EKO scheme, along with free one-year coverage for pensioners starting August 2024, reflects our commitment to inclusive healthcare access.”
