Highlighting her vision for CIIN, Adeyanju stressed the importance of collaboration and innovation. “My pursuit of change through collaboration and innovation has been the driving force behind my decision to embark on this path. I firmly believe that, by working together, we can elevate our institute to unprecedented levels of success,” she said.

Adeyanju also addressed her campaign manifesto, promising to introduce reforms in the council. She pledged to work with other council members to convert the institute’s examinations to a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format, improving their integrity and aligning them with international standards. “The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria does not need to build a CBT center, purchase computers, or incur significant expenses. Instead, it can collaborate with existing centers to conduct the exams, thereby increasing their integrity,” she explained.

Adeyanju noted that such changes would elevate CIIN’s standing with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in London. She pointed out that currently, individuals with CIIN qualifications moving to the UK must pass additional exams to obtain UK certification, whereas UK-certified individuals can receive CIIN certification without extra exams. “By creating a system that upholds greater integrity in our examinations, we can ensure that our qualifications are recognized on par with those from the CII London, making it easier for our members to relocate and have their credentials acknowledged,” she concluded.

Adeyanju’s election is seen as a significant step toward enhancing the standards and global recognition of CIIN. Her vision and commitment to innovation promise a bright future for the institute and its members.
